A decade after abandoning our Costco membership, a friend gave us a gift membership for Xmas. We went in today to shop for the first time, and the nice man who was checking us out greeted me with a cheerful, booming "Brother Man!" I almost started crying hearing that Pableaux-ism on his 60th birthday. I'd like to think he was just saying hello and letting us know he's doing fine.
