I have been lucky enough to enjoy the hospitality of Olav and Kerstin both in Washington and in Sweden. I will always remember Olav for his humorous stories, his infinite kindness, and his adoration of his lovely wife. My sincere condolences to the family.

I am so grateful to have met Olav and be able to spend the time with him that I did. He had such a kind gentle spirit about him. I will always remember when I got to see him and Kerstin with family in Hawaii some years ago. We all had dinner and it was such a great time. He and Kerstin paid for my dinner and it was so nice of them to do that. I will miss you Olav.
