For those who are unaware, Craig's son Matthew has passed away. Take care of each other up there you two - miss you gentlemen.
Happy Birthday Dad. I hope you are partying it up and having fun up there! Give Grandpa Do-Do, Aunt Donna and Grandma Helen and Grandma Netty a big hug and kiss from me.
"My father lived life fully and passionately.

He ived an adventurous life that was full of laughter and learning. He brought his loved ones along on some of those adventures and, whether the experience was good or bad, there was always a lesson and a purpose to it.

I have never met anyone in my 57 years that was even remotely like my father. Craig Hansen was an amazing force of nature and he will be missed.

Dad, you will be forever in my heart."

Craig was afraid to die and that doesn’t surprise me a bit, as is the fact that he lived past 81. Gratefully Amber and Dax are Christians and when he asked them, they prayed with him. Amber is the one especially so in love with Jesus and told her daddy the way. Jesus tells us He is the only Way!
Those kids are amazing and they have a mess on their hands now, but wonderful families of their own to love and care for. They are kind, patient, and intelligent parents. Both are relieved their daddy found some peace. Me too!
I couldn't live with Craig’s alcoholism and stayed until those two were grown. It was 26 years and it got to be like a marathon; not a marriage. Yet, I hated to see what addictions did to a person I once loved deeply, if not completely. Please I pray each child be blessed.

Do you even know what Love is? I didn’t really know back when, but found the truth in God’s Word. Check it out before it is your last day. Understand who our Creator truly is. God is Love!
1 Cor.13:4-8a & 13 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.( of course mere humans do all the time)...And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love”.
