Ngoc Duong Vo, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2023 at his home in Reseda, California. He was 85 years old. Mr. Vo was born to Vo Van Hoc and Huynh Thi Chau, on July 22, 1938, in Khanh Hoa, Vietnam. He was the third eldest of seven children. Mr. Vo attended Vo Tanh High School in Nha Trang City, Vietnam. Later marrying the love of his life, Cong Tang Ton Nu Thi Hue and sharing six children he loved so much.

In his earlier years, Mr. Vo enjoyed swimming, ping pong, fishing, gardening, traveling, and spending time with loved ones. He achieved many accomplishments both in his personal and professional life, however his greatest joy was to witness the success of his family. He was a proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

During the Vietnam war, Mr. Vo attended the Thu Duc Infantry School and served as an officer in the army of the Republic of Vietnam until the fall of Saigon in 1975. His family was evacuated and immigrated to the United States in the Spring of that year. Mr. Vo resided in Minnesota for several years, where he worked hard to raise his family prior to moving to California in 2010. In the last 5 years of his life, he fought multiple health issues however remained active in maintaining his beloved garden and spending quality time with family. As he wished, he took his last breath surrounded by his loving wife and children at his bedside on April 28, 2023 at 3:05PM.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother and two siblings. He is survived by his wife, 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. Vo will always be remembered as a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be missed dearly.
