Nettie Mae Packnett, 90, of Kenner Louisiana, passed away on April 20, 2021 after a recent battle with cancer.
Nettie was born on November 1st, 1930 to Doretha Chapman and Jeff Parker in Centreville Mississippi. She never finished school and often told stories of walking miles to attend school in Mississippi while growing up with her family as sharecroppers.
