Sending all our love and strength to you and the boys. I was always happy when Tafa was around because I knew Joe would have someone to talk to. He was wonderful at hitting it off with all kinds of people and always full of jokes. Love you and hope to see you soon.

Working with Netfa at US DOT on a daily basis for the past 4 years has been nothing short of amazing. The group that we assembled over time became my work family and he was like a brother to me. One of my favorite memories of him at work was his sarcastic, yet polite ways and how he would joke about him knowing all of these celebrities and I would believe him. Another recent memory was him giving me one of the best birthday S/o during a meeting back in July 2021. That right there truly made my day and I made sure I thanked him for it. Another memory outside of work was when him and I were trying to get a Playstation 5 for one of his sons and we kept trying and trying. I would try and help him as much as I could. Netfa eventually was able to get a Playstation 5 because he never gave up. Netfa never gave up on anything as long as I’ve known him. A true warrior that I’ll always be proud of! My love and condolences goes out to his family, his Wife, Natasha and his 3 children! I am here if you need anything Natasha, including the kids.

Tafa after a day of shooting …
2021, Virgin Islands, St. John, USVI
Tafa after a day of shooting in St.John this past March. So grateful to have been a part of this and many others, witnessing and experiencing his creativity, talent, friendship and love for his home.
My condolences to Netfa's family. I reconnected to Tafa last year. I mentioned that I had a health scare on FB and he immediately reached out to me. He instantly became big brother asking me about diet, medications and exercise. He then asked me about my faith and provided me with spiritual information. We checked up on each other and he repeatedly brightened my mood and gave me more drive to get off medication and win. The love and encouragement he showed me in a short period of time overcame my outer shell and said "I love you brother". Tafa as a teenager was a fun loving schoolmate that always told me the truth. Tafa as a man showed love and compassion for those near and far. As I write this with tears coming down my face thank you for blessing me with your radiant personality. I have definitely been changed by interaction with you. God bless your family and may your wife and kids find strength in these times.
My deepest and sincerest condolences go out to the Romain family. I'm still in shock. Keeping Natasha and the boys in my prayers. Netfa was the nicest and happiest person and had the warmest heart. Honored to have known him. He will be greatest missed. Rest in peace and power, my Friend.
My condolences to the entire Romain family.  Tafa was a really good man. He loved his family and loved the VI.  I enjoyed working with him but enjoyed our conversations outside of work. Tafa will truly be missed.
I am blessed to have the opportunity to meet.  RIP my friend.   I will keep your family in my prayers.
To an incredible person taken from us way to soon. Tafa, your loss is painful. My condolences to Natasha and the boys. Much love, Dan
