Happy Birthday Nelson hopefully you are not suffering and you and Jackie will be waiting for me to cross over soon. I want to be there and without pain. I remember the nights you would pick me up and we would drive to the industrial area and hang until cops started patrolling there. Going to Jackie’s house in RVC for all her kids parties dealing with Nani She of course liked you so everything was always okay if we were with Nelson. After Jackie married Geoffrey things were not the same. I miss the old times If only we could go back and do it over it would be different I would guarantee you that. Have a drink in heaven with Jackie do the Time Warp and remember put your hands on your tits and what is the way to NOT get pregnant…. Bend your knees in tight!! Love ya and miss ya more than you know! Nicki
Nelson was my one and only and he always knew that. We met at MR but remained friends for years. God is now the lucky one for having Nelson and his wonderful smile up in heaven Nelson try and put some sense into Jackie since she was waiting for you at the gates. I know your family here will be missing you but will have great memories to share with one another Always remember I ❤️ You Nelson until I see you on the other side !
I don't think I've ever read an obituary that captured so well the essence of exactly who somebody was - every single word of Nelson's does just that ! He was an extraordinary guy & we were so blessed to have had the privilege of calling him a "friend" ... I first met Nelson in the early 90's when we shared many laughs and great times @ Buttle's while he worked @ the Marriott and I was at the NY Islanders... I want to extend my sincerest sympathy and condolences to his family & close friends on your loss and let you know what you already do - that he was such a special person who touched the hearts of so many with his upbeat spirit and smile that would light up every room he walked into... I hope it brings you some small sense of comfort to know that he will most certainly be remembered so fondly by so many... may he rest in eternal peace ❤
Nelson and I were friends as well as classmates at MR. We were in Band together all four year as well as countless other classes. He had the best sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Everyone liked Nelson, he was a friend to everyone. He didn’t belong to one group of friends, he was the face of our class. When I think back on all the fun and laughs we had it warms my heart. God Bless you my friend.
To the Myrthil family. Our prayers and condolences to the family. We are saddened for the homegoing of Nelson because we know that your hearts are heavy right now. Remember God loves you and so do us. We will continue to pray for the entire family. Deacon John, Deaconess Queenie McKinney & sons.
