Memorial service for Neecy Johnston, 84, will be held at 1 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2023, at Pentecostals of Haughton 7594 LA-157, Haughton, LA 71037.

Neecy was born on September 24, 1939, in Bastrop, Louisiana to E.L. and Lorina Tomlinson. She passed away on January 13, 2023, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Neecy was married to Paul “Nowayne” Johnston on June 26, 1958. They lived in Collinston, Louisiana with their four children on a dairy farm. They lived there until 1975 then moved to Crowley Louisiana. They only lived there for two years then they moved to Bossier City, Louisiana. She lived out the rest of her life there loving her family. She taught all her children how to love. She prayed for her kids every day; they were her heart. She Loved her Jesus fiercely and dutifully for years and wanted nothing more then for her children to do the same.

She was preceded in death by her father E.L. Tomlinson and Mother Loriena Tomlinson and Brother Louis Tomlinson. She was survived by her husband Paul Nowayne Johnston. Her sister Jackie Owens. Her four children Sheila Canfield, Tywonna and Duane Frazier, Jay and Stacey Johnston, Stacie and Ryan Williams. Her Grandchildren Justin and Margo Canfield, Jessi and James Dunn, Josie and William Mcleod, Blake Frazier, Sara Frazier, Derek Johnston, Jayden Johnston, Alex Williams, Paris Williams, and Katie Williams. Thirteen great grandchildren  and one great-great grandchild.
