Background
Parkinson’s Foundation makes life better for people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. They provided support and care to Neil in his time of need and to countless other people living with Parkinson’s.
Being an admirer of plants and New York City we would like to honor Neil Smilen by having his name live on with one of the beautiful trees he loved so much in Central Park. Donations will be collected until we meet our goal at which point his name will be placed on an existing mature tree of our choosing in Central Park as well as a granite paving stone at the southern end of Literary Walk, Mid-Park at 66th street.
JNF or Jewish National Fund plants trees in Israel in honor of loved ones and by doing so has helped transform 250,000-acres of Israel into an ecological paradise. Donations will be collected to be sent in together towards planting trees and the wall of eternal life plaque in Israel. Contribute to Parkinson's Foundation
