Natalie's obituary
Natalie "ReRe" Phillips, passed away at the age of 48 years old after losing her battle to her illness in Clearlake, CA.
Natalie was born on December 5th, 1973 to Dewayne and Mildred in Stockton California. Natalie was a miracle baby. She experienced complications at birth and almost didn't survive; But she did! She was a fighter. She was able to come into her own and established what she wanted out of life. She wanted to start her own family. A few years after graduating from Amos Alonzo Stagg in 1994, She met her soon to be husband in Matthew Phillips. They married in the year of 2001 and would go on to raise three boys and one girl. She always spoke about having her own family. When others told her she couldn't or shouldn't, her answer was "I will". She defied the odds. Natalie was a dreamer and she had just turned one of her dreams into a reality. She lived for her family. Natalie decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother.
Natalie was very passionate about horses. She dreamed of owning a ranch one day. She willed her dream, yet again, into a reality in which she forged a relationship with a particular horse on a ranch. She was able to form a special bond with one beautiful spirit to match her own. Again, defying odds, she was able to do what she dreamed. Her eyes lit up and voice filled with cheer and amazement every time she talked about feeding and grooming "her" horse. "I'll show you I can do it!" This was Natalie.
Natalie was a gift and will remain a bright light that serves as a constant reminder to keep dreams alive. Her light will forever shine in our hearts. We will miss her greatly.
