Nancy's obituary
"She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings." - Ariana Dancu
They say it takes a village to raise one person but in the ‘world of Nancy E. Chase,’ it will take an entire community to try and manage all of the roles, responsibilities and many talents of this fabulous woman as she will be deeply missed. In addition to being the "Queen of the Universe (QOTU)", her other titles included "GiGi", "Sheriff", "Julia Childs", "Julie MaCoy", "Dr Chase"(AKA Lucy from Peanuts) and more....
How can one best summarize this amazing woman?
“Every single person that came into Nancy’s path was blessed with her incredible talents. It could be a taste of her exceptional culinary skills (really a magician in the kitchen), her fun sense of humor (always keeping us laughing), her sense of caring and giving of her time, (always knew how to help out in dire situations with sound, kind and thoughtful advice!!) and her zest for the good times (spa times, fabulous mini vacations, road rally races, elaborate dinner parties all planned by Nancy!).
She really knew how to live and how to celebrate life to the fullest. Gathering people together with her charm and smile was her calling. Such an honor to call her my friend!” - Sue S.
