I remember when I was 16 and learning to drive I thought it would be so cool to learn how to drive standard. I only got this idea because at the time Nancy owned a white standard car. Without hesitation she tried her hardest to show me how to drive it. I remember the million times I stalled it, not even able to leave the driveway. But Nancy kept encouraging me to keep trying. Never once criticizing or making me feel like a failure. She kept telling me I could do it. Eventually I gave up. I did not have the coordination at the time to drive standard. But this is a memory that is forever etched in my mind and heart. I am missing you so much today. The grief of losing you comes and goes. Today has been a hard day. I love you and I’ll forever miss you!!
