Nancy Yang-Ying Chang 張楊瑩, 96, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023. She was born in Wuchang, China, on September 13, 1927 (lunar calendar date), to Yang Zhiqing 楊志清 and Gao Yu 高玉.

After settling in Kangshan, Taiwan, Nancy met and married her soulmate, David Hsieh Chang 張雪, at the Chinese Air Force Officer’s Club on December 25, 1949, and had 3 sons. After they all left home for university, Nancy joined her husband in Jakarta, Indonesia, before immigrating to the United States, settling in Texas in 1980. There, Nancy opened and operated her highly regarded acupuncture practice, Oriental Acupuncture Center 東方針灸中心, for 40 years. Even after retiring from her practice, Nancy continued to provide Chinese herbs and medicine, service, advice, and mentorship, to those she cared dearly for: family, friends, long-time patients.

Nancy is survived by her sons Hao-Jan (Pamela) Chang 張浩然, Patrick (Emily) Chang 張沛然, and Mark Chang 張淬然; her sisters Yang Jiasheng 楊佳生, Yang Rensheng 楊任生, Yang Lu 楊璐, and Yang Qi 楊琪; her grandchildren Mark, Catherine, Pearl, David, Christine, Rose, Charlene, Linda, Christopher, Connie, Eric, and Ariel; and her great-grandchildren Evan, Careese, Charlotte, Blake, Ellee, Sydney, Ryder, Christian, Elijah, and Gavin, all that loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, sister Yang E-Sheng 楊鄂生, and brother Yang Yingsheng 楊應生.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 9th at Restland Funeral Home & Memorial Park at 11:00 AM, with a reception thereafter at 12:00 PM. 於2023年12月9日 (星期六) 上午11時在治喪處舉行追思禮拜,

舉行告別禮拜後, 安葬於Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, Arlington, Texas。
