Myra Faye Wiggins, 83, of Guyton, passed away at The Place in Pooler on April 11, 2013.

Myra Faye was born on November 8, 1929 in Vidalia to the late Paul and Johnnie Mae McLeod Williamson. She lived in Savannah for several years before moving to Guyton. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, enjoying time with her family. She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church in Guyton for over 50 years, where she served on many various committees.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years Joe Wiggins, sister Jackie Lear, and brother Gettith Williamson.

She is survived by her son Vernon Wiggins of Springfield, daughter Linda Chancy (Wade) of Blackshear, grandchildren Dena West (Mark) and Tom Crawford (Annemarie), seven great grandchildren, brothers Donnie Paul Williamson (Charlotte), Rev. Wayne Williamson (Shirley), David Williamson (Pam), Mike Williamson and Tim Williamson.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at New Providence Baptist Church in Guyton with Rev. Eric Palmberg and Rev. Wayne Williamson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment will follow at Guyton Cemetery.
