My uncle, Jyoti aka Punkle, and I shared the same birthday. I celebrated so many birthdays together with him that I can't begin to describe the flood of memories that hit me on August 18th. Much love from Rez to anyone out there reading this. A friend of uncle Jyoti's is a friend of mine.

What a showing and display of love for Jyoti, Rahman, Mashiur, Punk… our beloved. Thank you to all who were able to join us as we lay him to rest. So many commented on how at peace they felt afterwards. Thank you for taking the time to share your time, your memories, feelings, and love. Even our attendees on the other side of the world in Bangladesh (and in the UK) could feel the love. Thank you!

I live one street over from Jyoti and Rachel's home.  I moved into my house November 21, 2022, a year ago today. Rahman was part of the moving crew that helped me get my stuff from my apartment over to my house, in several phases/trips. This last year, having Rahman (and Rachel) as neighbors, my life was saved on one occasion, Rahman provided ample laughter when he'd walk over to my house and pose or dance in front of my security camera.  Most folks who know me know that I've had a rough year health-wise, and Rahman was always the first to offer to bring over food, to run an errand for me, to give me a ride somewhere.  If I left my door open on some random afternoon, and sat in my chair in the living room, sure enough Rahman would show up and stop by just to chat. Usually about Rotary ideas or business. I'll surely miss my neighbor, and definitely my friend.
