Very painful for the exit of my Class Six Teacher at Teshie 10 Primary School in the 1981-82 academic year. She was very strict and loving. Some of my mates were own cousin Mary Amoah; Samuel Marteye, Elizabeth Dzisam, Esther Dzisam, Annang Sowah, Alhassan Moro, Fusieni Moro, Stella Adoley Kpakpo, Kabu Ocansey, Esther Cudjoe, Margaret Okailey Obli, Kai Sowah, among others.
Mrs. Danquah was a gentle and generous soul who was a mother to all who met her. May she rest in perfect peace 🕊️❤️

Auntie Attah was the first friendly face we met moving to Teshie Nungua. Our usual weekly chit chat, advice, motherly and big sister role will be missed so much. From naming ceremonies to making us members of United Church made us belong. Your time with us was always treasured. We love you but the Almighty in His good wisdom needed you more. Teshie Nungua will never be the same. We miss you ever so much. Rest in Paradise Auntie Attah. Love from Nyarkoa Addo-Yobo and Children
During the 90’s I would travel to Ghana with my children. At the time, my children and I would stay with Auntie Atta. At one point Auntie Atta hosted my engagement at her home. This is testimony of Auntie Atta’s loving nature and supportive character. Auntie Atta will always hold a place in my heart, May her soul rest in perfect peace. Love always and forever Ama ayaw & children.

Auntie Ataa...What a wonderful , faithful, and beloved mother to our cousins Nana, Sister Alex, Paa Eugene, Nana Siedu, and Paa Cofie . What a loving and sage twin sister and support to my dad. What a precious auntie to my siblings and I.
You are irreplaceable and your presence on this earth will be truly missed. Your love, advisement, care, steadfast faith, wisdom, thoughtfulness, perseverance, joy, prayerfulness, and peace, soundly rooted in the Lord Jesus, remains a blessing and legacy to us all.
Your children are the fruit of your labor and prayers. They emulate your humility , respectfulness , and kindness. I believe they will continue to make you proud through their many accomplishments and love of God.
But How else can we thank you now that you have left us? As little children you were like a second mom when we paid visits to Ghana. Always embracing us with an “Aaa tooo”, introducing us to plantain fufu and Tom brown , letting us sample your kiln baked bread back in the day, and of course admonishing us to be good and do what is right, and to refrain from wrong. Not to forget the many many times over the years where you would moderate and counsel family matters that would arise.
Auntie,
you have exited this life, just a few months after our own dear late mom also departed to glory .The loss is deep , but heaven awaited.

We were praying fervently for your recovery during your ailment these past 3 yrs, But The Lord deemed to see you at this time, just as you yearned to see Him.
You told me a few yrs ago on a visit to Ghana , just preceding your illness “Mercy, when I die do not cry for me; I will be with the Lord”. ..
And it is so.
We thank Jesus .

I believe one way we can continue to thank and honor you is to walk in the fruit of the Holy Spirit, just as you did so graciously:
[Galatians 5:22]
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, Joy, peace, patience, kindness, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperence....”

Rest in perfect peace auntie Ataa. We love you. We thank you .

I am sure you are hearing those heavenly words from God “Well done good and faithful servant”.
May your children, grand children, and my dad and all the family be comforted and encouraged to see you again, through Christ Jesus. May the Holy Spirit comfort and keep us all.
Amen

[Psalm 73:26]
“My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever”

[Phillipians1:20-21]
“With all boldness as always so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, wheather it be by life or by death. For me to live is Christ. To die is gain.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Eugene, his brothers, sister and wider Danquah and Addo-Yobo families. May Mrs. Clara Danquah Rest in Perfect Peace.
Dear Aunty Clara, although I never met you, I knew you. In Eugene so many of your traits shine so brightly. You brought Eugene up to respect wisdom, admire knowledge, treat women with dignity and to be kind always. He is a true friend and a living tribute to you. I too will have the chance to meet you later. Till then, rest in perfect and eternal peace. Your hard work was not in vain. Sleep well Aunty, till you rise in glory, Christine BG x
Grandma thanks for teaching me this song:

" Into my heart, into my heart, come into my heart, Lord Jesus; come in today, come in to stay, come into my heart Lord Jesus."

Grandma Danquah, I will always keep Jesus in my heart, thanks for this song.... I Love you

I will miss the yearly calls on your birthday April 19th. Rest peacefully in the bossum of the Lord.

My condolences to Eugene, his siblings, their families; as well as the Addo-Yobo families. May God comfort you all during this season of loss, while remembering that it’s your loved one’s gain. Sleep well, Mama Clara.
My Beloved Auntie Clara, I will never forget your kindness, the dignity with which you held yourself and the integrity you admonished us all to uphold.
Rest in perfect peace 🙏🏽
