On the morning of April 15, family and close friends gathered aboard a boat on the Chao Phraya River to honor the life of Morakot in a traditional Thai Buddhist loi angkarn ceremony.

In this meaningful rite, Morakot’s ashes were respectfully scattered over the water, symbolizing a serene release and the continuation of his spiritual journey. Merit-making offerings were also performed in his name, reflecting the love and reverence held by those closest to him.

Now resting in the gentle flow of the river, Morakot’s spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him. 🕊️

Dear Loved Ones:

Thank you to everybody who has contributed, sent well wishes/condolences, or just checked in. We're still healing in this grieving process and are preparing for a memorial service this Sunday. We hope to see your faces and look forward to celebrating the life of Morakot with you all.

Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Morakot "Mack" Ruxsaksriskul on May 9, 2023, just a day after his 76th birthday. Born on May 8, 1947, Mack was a devoted father, brother, grandfather, and uncle, who brought joy and love to all who knew him. He was predeceased by his father, Lok Kuan Saeaui, mother, Wandee Amparwong, and brother Saruwaut Sae Aui.
