Montie LaVern Olson was born January 20, 1944 in Powers Lake, ND to Carroll and Betty Joan (Lucy) Olson. Montie has two sisters, Linda (Olson) Carmody and Carolyn (Olson) White. The family later moved to Tioga. Montie graduated from Tioga High School.
After high school, Montie attended North Dakota State University. Montie enlisted in the United States Army in 1966 and served two years. While in the army, Montie was stationed in Germany where he …
