Thinking of Miles today on his birthday. I had a dream a few months ago that he came to visit me and I got to tell him about and introduce him to my son and the feelings and details stayed with me even after I woke up. It felt like he was checking in on me. Miss you, Miles! Love to you and your family who I know still hold you dearly in their hearts.
Miles had the most wonderfully contagious smile. I have so many fond memories....but I think my favorite is his Llama Valentine song. He will be missed tremendously and forever cherished in our hearts. Gone, never forgotten. Not goodbye, but see you later in glory my friend.
We grieve deeply with Ralph, Tamala and all the Fondas, a very special, talented, sweet hearted family. Miles worked with us as a web designer at The Eastco Group and California Road Studios for a few years. And we've known him and his fam since he was a kid. To lose a son, a brother, a dad of a 3 year old...is beyond heartbreak. Too many questions to be answered this side of eternity. Meanwhile, we send our love and prayers to all the family and friends. We miss you Miles, you brought the wit, fun and creativity with you wherever you went. We will laugh together one day again on the other side! Luv U all!

Miles was a great person. Genuine. Talented. Sincere. Funny. With an eye for those on the fringes. I loved working with you at Steps youth group.
We will see you again!
Christ is risen and so will we!

Miles had such an abundance of kindness, creativity, and humor that everyone could see. I remember running into a classmate from high school, who wound up going to college in Buffalo, when he was back home for the holidays. He asked me if I was related to a classmate of his in the art program he was in, named Miles. I said that he was my cousin and we both gushed about how great he was and how much we enjoyed being around him.

I remember when he started making videos with his camera for his "wacky1pro" productions and being so impressed with what he was able to come up with. On top of that, he could draw, write, and play music; he really could do it all. I still have the custom lego figure he gave to us groomsmen on display at home and it is even more special to me now.

Love you, Miles.

My 16th birthday

I had a few friends and my family over to celebrate my 16th birthday. I received not a physical gift but one I can always cherish

Miles and TJ Wrote a song for me...for me!! How lucky am I to have a friend write such a silly meaningful song. A song that I know took time and such creativity. I cried and laughed listening to it for the first time. Still do so many times after.

2019

Many many years later, Miles rewrote the song to me for my 30th birthday. I have both songs saved and will forever be on my computers Playlist.

Miles- although you couldn't keep your promise that we would be friends til we were 83, as you wrote in the song, but at least I know, by God's amazing grace And love, I will see you again. Heck, maybe even when I'm 83.

Fondas.....Sherry and I can't imagine the pain and remorse that you're feeling. Nothing I can say will alleviate your sadness, but if we can provide a little distraction, please let us feed and drink you when you have some free time. Love you, Ian.
Ralph, Tamala, Bethany, and boys,

My heart is breaking for you. I can’t imagine losing a child so young. We have another funeral that day in Allentown Pennsylvania may God give you a heart of peace, knowing he is spending time with Jesus.
