Mildred P. Wurtsmith (December 20, 1929- April 8, 2022)
Mildred was the daughter of Martin and Emma Eichler, an old time German family that put down roots in Edwards, CO where she was born. Their place was near the area of the old Battle Mountain High School in Eagle Vail. Many a time she ran the milk cows out of that brushy pasture there. She was the valedictorian of her Gypsum High School graduating class. …
