Our sherpas we had to hire after getting food poisoning in Cusco waiting to make the hike. She was certain we could carry our own packs up. After 2 days of intense sickness 🤦‍♀️ she surrendered to us hiring help! Hahah — with Tracy Kranz-Nicotera and Michelle kranz

Dear Dan: Michelle was a role model for living life to the fullest. May her spirit live on in all of us. Love, Paul & Judy. P.S. from Paul: In remembrance of Michelle, please find attached three photos from July 2010 when the three of us summitted several 13,000-ft peaks in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains.

I am so deeply saddened by this loss. Michelle was a kind soul and an adventurous travel companion. Together we climbed mountains, observed great apes in their natural habitats around the globe, and even dined with an elephant for breakfast. I cherish my memories of Michelle and will remember her always.

Chellie lived an amazing life full of adventures.  I feel so blessed to have known her for 44 years full of fun memories and lots of laughs. 💗
