My sincerest sympathy to Aunt Teresa, Uncle Dale, Aunt Sissy, Misty, Melody, and the rest of the family on the passing of your husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
Although I have not seen my Uncle in person since I was little, we were all reconnected on fb ancestry page our cousin created. I loved seeing his pictures and his love for his family, you were truely blessed to have him in your lives. He would play these puzzle games with us that made us all laugh and enjoy talking to one another. I will miss you Uncle Michael, may you rest in peace. Please say hi to grandma and my dad for me! Xoxoxo. 😘

My Brother and Sister with me in Connecticut
From Papa's SISTER, Margaret Voss Richards.

I am truly blessed that Michael was my brother. I have so many wonderful memories of him especially when we children and teenagers he was always so funny and still was as we grew into adulthood. We laughed a lot at the things he would do and the way he would act some times, I could write a book about it. We always knew he was our Mothers favorite but it didn't bother us because he was Tom's , Dale's, and of course mine also. (I did get a kick out of teasing her about it though 😉)! He was a wonderful person and brought a lot of happiness to others. He told me once,he fell in Love with Teresa the moment he laid eyes on her, and was bound and determined to marry her. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Next to God, his family was his world. I can't say I'm not devastated and heart broken 💔😢over this because I am and it hurts so bad. I love you so much my dear brother and I will feel your loss every day. May you rest in God's Loving Arms! ❤️ Your Loving Sister Always, Sissy
Our condolences to Mike's family during this time. I first met Mike in August 1997. My first day at Limestone I was assigned to work with Mike in 9 Dorm. He was a great help to the "new" guy. Years later as a sergeant I would make my rounds in Segregation and enjoy great conversation and good coffee with Mike. I do have a regret we both own at the same resort in Gatlinburg and were never able to schedule time there together. This year we missed missed each other by about 2 weeks. Mike was a Christian, who loved God, his wife and family. He will be sorely missed.
You and I were two peas in a pod. No closer relationship with anyone! I am so glad I was your baby girl. I love you so much.
Papa, we love you more than you could ever imagine.

Teresa & Michael stopped by to visit us during one of their trips to VA. It was wonderful to see them and we felt so honored that they made the time to include us in their destination stops. We are praying for the family! Michael will be greatly missed! Till we meet again!
Papa, you will be so missed!!! I may not have very many photos, but I still have all of the memories of growing up around you and nana and how you guys always made me feel like one of y’all’s own. You will be so missed! I love you! ❤️❤️
