Dad, I have such wonderful memories of being a kid and you piling us in the back of your pick up truck. You would drive through town and to the roads specifically with big bumps so we could fly into the air with delight! I'm pretty sure it wasn't legal, but you weren't ever really a rule follower.

Getting snuggles, butterfly kisses, and story time at night was my ultimate favorite. I will do the same with your granddaughter, Charlotte Michael Pearl. I wish you could have met her before you left, but have faith that you know her wherever you are.

I can't believe it's been a year since I last touched you as you left this world. I will always have an ache in my heart missing you. You are so loved.

My sincere condolences to the Matthews family. Mike built a beautiful master suite addition and deck on my home in 2018 to accommodate my aging parents. My dad suffered from dementia and took an incredible liking to Mike who was beyond patient and kind to my dad as he ensured Mike and his crew remained well hydrated. A very memorable time for my family.

Mike and I met when he gave me a bid for an addition on my house in CH. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t admire and enjoy our addition that he built! Mike also put 2 roofs over my head and built a wonderful bathroom remodel. During the addition remodel Mike invited me to play 16” softball in town. Well, the rest is history as we went on to win 4 or 5 Championships!(We finally figured out how to beat Auto- Repair)- I got to see first hand the joy and jubilation that brought to him , James and Sue. What a wonderful father, stepfather, husband, uncle and friend. May your smile and good nature shine down on all that new you!
