I’m so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. I met him while working at J.Christopher’s when he was opening in Tennessee. I had the pleasure of coming out from Atlanta to help open the restaurant.  Mike taught me things as a young manager that I will never forget about the experience people have while dining. He was a genius and a great guy.

Mike was my best Guy Friend from the time we were 15 and on thought life!  We were friends at SMW and then at Shawnee Mission South in the first graduating class… 1967.  We were lifeguards together at Georgetown Apartments in the 60’s.

He was hilariously funny, an excellent chef,  a dear and loyal, wonderful friend for 57 years!  I’ll miss him always.

My sincere condolences to Ginny, Lauren and Kate!

Mike was a high school friend at Shawnee Mission South.  Our friendship continued at college in Pittsburg and back to Kansas City.  Great smile and so much fun!  Will never forget him singing in our high school production of Oklahoma.  And won’t forget the great times at the Pitt.  RIP my old friend.

I met Mike in the fall of 68 when I arrived at the Phi Sig house in Pittsburg.  He had this cocky smile and big personality,  and I knew I made the right choice in schools and fraternity house.
Mike was one of the nicest person that I have met at Kansas State College at Pittsburgh. He will be missed.
Met Mike during my first days after moving in to the Phi Sig house at Pitt State in 1968. Always fun, always smiling and and a great frat brother.  Very sorry to hear of his passing and of his battles with Alzheimer’s.  Many fond Memories of Mike.
