Scoob man, can't remember exact date or if it was 92 or 93, But it was winter and you just moved here from Cali and you had your Raiders Parka and your hat cocked off to the side struttin like you owned that shit, It was cold and we were at zigas's place in the morning meeting up b4 going to school. I said to the guys "what up with gangstar over here?" "He gonna bust a cap in our ass or somethin?" Jeremy Dean says "Nah, that's scoob, he aint gang banging but he's from Oakland and his first day at school today" then someone yells over to him "YO SCOOP! Sup dawg wanna get in on this before we gotta roll?" Scoob glances over and his face brightens up as he pushes open the glass door that brings him outside to the lot so he can join our wake/bake. He turns to strut down them concrete stairs till he gets to that big patch of frozen water. We called it ice around here and we knew better, but scoop didn't call it nothin, he just kept high steppin. That patch of ice was the first fight i think he got in and it tossed him down hard, He clearly didn't see that one coming. we all felt that shit and we all got our jabs in at the new kids expense. His first lesson in how we walk up north, and that's carefully. From that day onward we were all fast friends and felt like we'd know each other for years.  RIP Scoop! i'm glad to have known ya, and even happier to have called you my friend! stay cool brother! you will be missed!  till we meet again!
