Mike was teaching music in the late 1980’s when StJuliana School started putting on musicals. My daughters were involved and I was a volunteer choreographer. He was so creative and besides the main characters, 4th (?) graders were involved singing background. We all had so much fun with the singing, dancing and costumes. Thanks for the memories Mike!
I met him online, about 2007 - when I joined FurAffinity - We traded silly stories and comments. I even commissioned him and Mark for a few drawings. I still have them and treasure them. I had no idea that he had passed- Din/Michael wasn't always active on Facebook - where we kept in touch after I left FurAffinity.I miss his humor, his view and his candor. He gave so much of himself to others, especially those that felt that they had no other place to be. Godspeed, my friend! I love and miss you
Michael was such a great landlord during our time in Niles- he allowed me to continue to foster so many animals and save some lives. May he rest in peace!
I first met Mike in the 80's, we both worked at Golf Mill State bank, then I went to school at UIC and he was a campus minister, ,Mike is the reason I have a relationship with God, and a friend for over 40 years, he will surely be missed, RIP Migalooch
Mike gave me the opportunity to fulfill a dream of playing guitar at a Mass as St Isaac’s in the early 1980’s. He will forever be one of the people who significantly impacted my life.
Mike and I were friends since high school. We love performing together in the V show. And I love keeping in touch with him over the years. I am so sad and I will miss him dearly.
Michael “Dineegla”, Thank You for your friendship and our many phone conversations reflecting of the good times and recent challenges after suffering my own losses in 2023 and last year. I wished I was closer to Illinois to have helped ya more. You are at peace and in a better place than here. I will miss you while I’m still alive and hope to see you again in heaven.
