To the Hicks family:
I knew Micala from high school at OFHS. She and I were in a few of the same classes together throughout high school and had many friends in common, and often were at the same parties and events together.
I am finally making it to the Cleveland area to pay respects to Micala at her resting place. I will be visiting on Friday afternoon (1/27/2023). I don’t know if this site is still monitored, but if Nate (who I knew from OFHS as well) or any other family members wish to reach out, my number is 937-869-8469.
Sincerely,
Robert Barnes

Hey Micala, decided to spend your birthday by saying YES! to spontaneously flying to Florida for a friends wedding. Because that’s the type of friend you are. You always showed up for people. Even if that person was me- inviting you and the girls to a last minute impromptu ice cream party for one of my girls at 7pm on a Sunday night where I promised not to give the kids too much sugar on a school night :) you always showed for people. I’m choosing to continue your legacy and do the same. They say we forget what people said, we remember how they made us feel. You always made everyone in your orbit feel special and 🥰 loved. I’m going to do my best to honor that legacy by doing the same. Love you friend. #armywivesforever
