DeeDee was my beloved Sister-in-law for over 40 years. She loved my kids, I love her kids. She will be so missed from our lives. I look forward to meeting up with her heavenly spirit.

As I write this, DeeDee's Celebration of Life Service is in progress. I'm far away, unable to attend, but my heart is there with everyone present. Although we didn't spend much time together, DeeDee will always be thought of by me as an eternal ray of light and love. Some people earn the right to never be forgotten, always held close in beautiful, sacred memory. DeeDee is one of those.

I only worked with Dee Dee a few years but every time I would see her she had the biggest smile and brightest gleaming eyes. She was always happy and cheerful.

The Barreras Family send their endless love and deepest condolences for the loss of one of the brightest souls, Dee Dee. When Dee Dee and family moved to Arizona in 1968, little did they know as our next-door neighbors, they would become our chosen family that would make decades of memories together. From childhood trips across the country, to home cooked Mexican meals (Ellie’s tacos were her favorite!), we will forever be grateful for the constant happiness that Dee Dee provided to us all.
Dee Dee, we smile thinking of you today and know that you are in good company with your parents and sister Kaye. Thank you for your lifetime of light you brought to us all.
Rest in Peace, The Barreras Family

I’m very sorry to hear this, I hadn’t realized. Melody and I worked together at SWS many years ago. She and I shared a love of horror novels. She was a sweet lady and I’m sorry she is gone.
