DeeDee was my beloved Sister-in-law for over 40 years.  She loved my kids, I love her kids.  She will be so missed from our lives.  I look forward to meeting up with her heavenly spirit.
As I write this, DeeDee's Celebration of Life Service is in progress. I'm far away, unable to attend, but my heart is there with everyone present. Although we didn't spend much time together, DeeDee will always be thought of by me as an eternal ray of light and love. Some people earn the right to never be forgotten, always held close in beautiful, sacred memory. DeeDee is one of those.
DeeDee was and is loved by so many and she felt it. She is forever everywhere with me, as she is my soul sister for eternity🥰
And I was saying shaha LOL

My sister was truly one of a kind I will miss her forgiving and loving spirit she not one for having family disagreements  she was always one to smooth things  over between her siblings  I will always fill blessed to have her as a sister and now as an angel to watch over us allrest in peace  My loving sis
I only worked with Dee Dee a few years but every time I would see her she had the biggest smile and brightest gleaming eyes. She was always happy and cheerful.

The Barreras Family send their endless love and deepest condolences for the loss of one of the brightest souls, Dee Dee. When Dee Dee and family moved to Arizona in 1968, little did they know as our next-door neighbors, they would become our chosen family that would make decades of memories together. From childhood trips across the country, to home cooked Mexican meals (Ellie’s tacos were her favorite!), we will forever be grateful for the constant happiness that Dee Dee provided to us all.

Dee Dee, we smile thinking of you today and know that you are in good company with your parents and sister Kaye. Thank you for your lifetime of light you brought to us all.

Rest in Peace, The Barreras Family

Dee Dee & I met in high school.  She was my best friend.  Over our many years together we shared so much laughter.  We would often reminisce about funny things we did or just enjoyed being together watching movies and having "girl time".  Dee Dee loved her family so much.  David was a good husband to Dee Dee, offering her much love, stability, wisdom and many fun experiences.  Dee Dee was so proud of her boys, they, and then their wives,  brought her so much happiness.  THEN she had grandchildren.  Dee Dee could talk for hours about them and had many pictures to share.  They lit up her life.  Dee Dee loved  her sisters and brothers and always wanted the best for them and very much treasured any time she could spend with them.  It is true that Dee Dee was about loving, she was the peacemaker.  In honoring her memory the best thing anyone could do would be to mend fences where needed.  That would be the legacy Dee Dee would want to leave.  Dee Dee, I miss you, but I will see you again, so save me a seat at the table my friend.
Dee Dee knew how to love “Wright”!!! Miss her and very blessed to have been able to have her as part of our family also!!!

I’m very sorry to hear this, I hadn’t realized. Melody and I worked together at SWS many years ago. She and I shared a love of horror novels. She was a sweet lady and I’m sorry she is gone.
