Melanie was such a big part of my life for many years. Becoming more than just a best friend but more like a sister. Always there to lend a shoulder to cry on or to give advice on life when needed. The worlds light just became a little dimmer with the loss of such a beautiful soul . She is truly going to be missed here on earth 💔My heart and prayers are with Edward and her beautiful children during these hard times as well as all her family and friends.

I worked with Melanie at US cellular in Whiteville almost 15 years ago. She was always so supportive and protective of me  (I was 18 at the time, and the baby of the office). Her and Lori were my absolute favorite people to work with. They took care of me and taught me so much.

She loved her kids and family more than anything. She was proud, strong willed, but always kind. She will truly me missed.
