Max Eugene Thompson, (88), of Williamsburg, IA, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025 surrounded by family.
Max was born to Roger and Ilo Thompson on Aug 21, 1936 in Powersville, MO. After graduating from Unionville, MO High School in 1954, he went to Illinois to work on a dairy farm for a year. In 1955, he moved to Ottumwa to work for John Morrell & Co. After getting laid off, Max began his career …
