Matthew was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who entered the world on December 18, 1952, in Richardson, Texas, the son of Charles and Virginia Kent.
Matt grew up in Richardson alongside his older brother, Charles Kent Jr., and spent his childhood and early adult years in the Dallas area. He married Terry Barnett in 1969, and in 1970 they …
