Maryanne “Annie” Tierney (Aguirre), 74, of San Marcos, died on Oct. 24, 2014 in San Diego of lung cancer that spread to her brain. She died peacefully in her sleep, with her daughter Adrienne A. Aguirre by her side. She had just spent the day with her granddaughter Desiree Aguirre, the light of her life.
