It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Kadell Short Mathis, who left us on November 4, 2024. Born on March 19, 1941, Mary lived a fulfilled life and touched the hearts of everyone around her.

Mary was the cherished daughter of the late Annie (Ann) and Jessie D. Short. She was a loving sister to Jesse Short and a dear sister-in-law to Daisy Short and sister-in-law Joan Witt. Her memory …
