Katie and Ricky came into my world through my role as the DARE Officer. Through them and their participation I met Mary-Ann. She was always supportive even when these two were not in a class getting the program. I remember when the Chief passed away I was asked to do the eulogy. Mary-Ann provided moral support helping me focus on the moment and what it meant. 

I occasionally see Katie around and it always makes me happy to see her bright smile! I attribute this positivity to Mary-Ann’s love of her children/grandchildren. 

And for Ricky, who in his own way brought my wife and me together, LOL! It was so exciting for my wife and I to have him and Mary-Ann at our wedding.
