It was an absolute pleasure to meet Martin through Fran. Such a warm and kind soul. My thoughts are with you all xxx

Dear Ros, we were very saddened to hear of Martyn's passing. He was a very interesting and interested man. We enjoyed his equable conversations, his constant curiosity about the world around him and his obvious passion for family. Although we did not spend a lot of time together over the years, the close continuing friendship from High School days of our sons, Alex and Andrew, has made us feel close to you and the whole family. Unfortunately, we will be in London (with Andrew and his family) on January 31, but we will take time together to remember Martyn and to send you our warmest thoughts.
With our love, Neil and Stephanie

Dear Martyn,
Over the holidays, I was thinking about all the great friends I have, and I was just about to contact you. It has been quite some time since we last met for lunch in Mountain View. Then I got the news from your passing from Olivia.
You were one of the most beautiful people I've ever met. I've never heard you speak ill of anyone, nor anyone of you. In the crazy DotCom days at ReplayTV, you always stayed calm and centered. Your wry smile and British humor helped me and our team to stay sane and focused on the work at hand to become gazillionaires. Looking back, I regret that I was too busy to take windsurfing lessons from you at Shore Line lake.
ReplayTV was a life changing event for me, and not just because I stopped watching LiveTV since 1999. It was where I made many great life long friends, and you were and still are among the top on the list. In moments of crisis, I remind myself to stay calm like Martyn to sort things out.
Farewell my friend. Take a nice relaxing break before heading out again on your outdoor adventures. If our paths cross again, I'll certainly sign up for your windsurfing class. This time ... in the clouds.
With warmest regards to you and your loving family,
Tâm
P.S. My wife still remembers meeting you and Rosalind at the ReplayTV Christmas party decades ago.

Dear Ros, Olivia & Alex,
Once again, my most sincere condolences. Feel free to use any of the anecdotes or photos already sent. Thanks for putting that wonderful photo of the five of us "dancing" on the front page of the website. What a day that was!
Very best wishes,
John.
PS: I will be making a donation.

Please accept our condolences.
Martyn was such a character in so many ways. We were neighbors for many years and enjoyed several events with him and his family. He shared his birthday with my granddaughter, and now they can visit in heaven.
We have moved, but always cherish the wonderful friendship that we shared. Our hearts
hurt with his absence. The world needs more gentle people like Martyn.
