My sincerest condolences to Krystal and the girls. The way you loved on them so openly and publicly is an example for everyone. You know we got them. The way you stood up for marginalized people is an example of real manhood. Whenever the Dodgers fan rocks an A’s hat that’s in my collection, it’ll be in your honor and your love for The Bay. I ain’t wearing the niners tho lol. I’ll never forget when the Kings had training camp in San Diego and you made sure to scoop me up and make sure I had a good time. You showed friendship in word and actions. Whenever I watch a movie with my boys, I’ll think of you. Same thing whenever I see George Clinton, because you were ahead of the curve on that mission to make him the Ques. Rest assured, my brother. The love will always be there from  Jason (James). I loooooved your gumbo…i dont know if you got lucky that day but i eat gumbo til this day becuse of your bomb gumbo 

U even had show calle gumbo or crockpot something like that…it was amazing shout out to J myers great memories

They say that life, if well lived, is long enough. Martin truly lived an awe-inspiring life. One filled with adventure, travel, joy, knowledge, friendship, and family. A life both admirable and inspirational, he left his mark on the world and on all of us.

What I’ll always remember about Martin is his ability to change the energy in a room. He was funny, positive, and always radiated life. It’s a reminder to live with that same spirit.

Thank you, Martin, for always being you! A kind, decent, and honorable man, father, and friend. Job well done. Long live MLB!
