Martha Frances “Fran” Sessions, age 66, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born December 12, 1955 in Florence, SC to Walter Wesley, Jr. and Sarah Beatrice “Beaty” Dowdy Sessions and had lived in Vidalia for many years before she made her home in Statesboro 9 years ago. Fran was on the MST Team at Lowes Home Improvement in Statesboro. She loved working in her flowers, going to the beach, was an avid reader, hanging out with friends and traveling. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Walter Wesley “Skeeter” Sessions, III.

She is survived by her aunts, Dot Galbreath of Vidalia, Jewel Horne of Greeneville, TN, and Pat Hahn of Statesboro; sister-in-law, Nancy Smith of Atmore, AL; numerous special cousins and a wonderful group of friends that became sisters.

Services will be held at a later date.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Sessions family.
