Mrs. Martha Horne Newton, age 71, of Glenwood, died Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a native of Montgomery County, grew up in Mt. Vernon and lived in Glenwood most of her life. She was a 1981 graduate of Regents Nursing School in Baxley.
