Marlon Anthony Staples, affectionately known as “Beanny” by his beloved family and friends, passed away peacefully, at home, on July 5, 2025, at the age of 51. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and joy. Marlon was born a beautiful and special child in 1973 when medical professionals would commonly recommend infants born with Down Syndrome be institutionalized due to a lack of resources, services, and societal understanding.
