Mark passed on April 28, 2021. He was born on November 19, 1953 in Tucson, Arizona. He attended Somerset Elementary School, Shawnee Mission East High School and graduated from University of Missouri at Rolla with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a devoted husband and father. His passions in life included fast cars, racing in the Sports Car Club of America, achieving a brown belt in Kenpo Karate, and recently taking up the electric guitar and collecting Bourbon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Sada Dalen. He leaves behind his brother Paul Dalen, his wife, Diana, of 47 years, his two daughters, Cristina Harris and Lorin Harris, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Mark’s Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday July 10th, at 11:00 AM at Heritage UMC, 12850 Quivira Road, Overland Park, KS 66213.
