Obituary
Dr. Marjorie R. Hendler, PhD, died at the age of 100 after living a long and meaningful life. An ardent feminist, she was a pioneer in the women’s rights movement as well as a leader in the fight for quality integrated education during the civil rights movement. A lifelong teacher and learner, she was a graduate of Brooklyn College, and later received her doctoral degree from NYU at the age of 52, publishing her thesis …
