Obituary

Marie-Anne Mondestin Antenor was born on July 13, 1934 in the Bocachita, Dominican Republic to Mercillia “Chouchou” Obas and Leopaul Mondestin. When she was a mere three months old, her mother passed away, so her father took her and relocated to Wanament, Haiti. There, she resided with her aunt, who raised her. She matured into a beautiful, fiercely independent young woman, and eventually fell in love.
