I am so sorry to hear of Marian's passing.  She was such a kind and sweet person.  I lived in Portage, Mi. And then moved to Florida  where I met Marian. She did sewing for me, mostly shortening pants, as I was also short like her.  No matter how busy she was, she always managed to work me in.  She was a beautiful seamstress.  I moved to Sullivan, In but always kept in touch until this past year when my last Christmas card sent to her was returned.  I just thought she had moved until I was checking my birthday list and saw she had passed.  I didn't realize we had something personal in common.  My mother's name was Ethel Lillian and her middle name was Ethel.  Prayers go out to all the family.  She will be sadly missed.😭💜💕

Stace, Kris and Marian at Thanksgiving
I had the distinct privilege of eating Marian's cooking. It was amazing and delicious and proved to me that food can be love. She made Stace's favorite for holidays and birthdays, and Stace picked the best favorites. I think there is a special seat in heaven for single Moms, and Marian is watching Michigan football or a live band, sipping a bud-light lime, standing to salute the flag, and waiting for the rest of us to join. Godspeed, Marian. I don't know if you gave me more cookies or smiles. I wear your friendship like a merit badge. You were cherished.
