No words can describe how I feel. I felt as if Mrs Maria was my own mother who is no longer with me. Rodney is my best friend and he introduced me to his mother after inviting me to meet her. When Mrs Maria saw me, it was like she knew me like I was her own son. She is a great lady and a she had a great influence on my friend Rodney. I will never forget the time I met Mrs Maria. She is a godly lady and I know she is with our eternal Lord Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed in this life but we will meet again in the next life that Jesus promised to give when He returns.

My mother was a one of a kind person. Someone who always chose helping others even over her own self. 

You were my biggest supporter and first true friend as well. Even though I could not show it, loved you more than I ever loved anyone in my life and I am sorry I could not do or show you in better ways.  I always love you and make you proud. 

Ma is an amazing example of what a wife and mother should be. Her faith was unshakable, even at the end. I always said she had a special connection with God because her prayers were always heard and answered. I will forever be grateful for getting to know her and blessed for having an opportunity to love her.

A hug to heaven, my beloved aunt of my heart

Auntie, today you rest, you are with God. Thank you for helping me, you and my Uncle Juvenal, when I was in New York. Thank you for giving me a glass of water or a plate of food, and above all, for opening the doors of your home, your life, your heart, and your family to me. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and to tell me about life and God. You were a great mother, a super wife, a wonderful grandmother, a phenomenal aunt, sister, and a great daughter and a devoted sister. Today you rest, but we will never forget you. I will always remember you in my heart and carry you with me. I haven't forgotten my Uncle Juvenal, and I have a reason: every summer I visit them. December 31st will be the year I will never forget. At first, it was hard for me to accept your illness and your passing to be with our Lord Jesus. I still remember your smile and your voice, and that smile that, like mine, made our eyes well up with tears. I will always carry your scent and your face with me. I love you and all your family so much that thanks to you, I feel like one of them. Thank you for everything. I will always be grateful to you and my uncle Juvenal and each of your family.
