We are happy Nana and Papa moved to Livermore, California to be near us October 2015 and have enjoyed so many years of happiness getting to know their grandkids. I never got Christmas cards out this year for my mom and she had wanted to let her friends know she had started dialysis early September this year. Unfortunately, it did not increase the quality of her life and was very hard on her. She made the brave decision to quit just before Christmas so we could have that time with her. She put up a fight until the last day before boys went back to school to spend every last moment with us. We are glad she has found peace now with my Dad and that we had this precious time with her.
