Gogi - though I did not know you very well nor for very long, I did feel a deep connection to you due to our mutual love of Mosaic. I was honored to be invited into your sacred circle to hold you during your last phase of life and transition. It was inspiring to witness you during these last few months and I was in awe of your strength, grace and authenticity through it all. You taught me a lot about living from how you showed up and I will forever be grateful that you so lovingly and willingly shared that time with us! I hope to keep those lessons close to my heart for years to come.

I will continue to send love and peace to all those who loved you and miss you and may be hurting during this time.

May your soul continue in a mosaic of love, joy and peace through your next journey.

Much love ❤️!!!

Thank you to Gogi’s family and friends. I so appreciated being able to follow her journey and to get in touch with her over the last year. I am sorry for your loss. I am thinking of you and sending love.

please convey our sadness and sympathy to the family and friends of Gogi Hodder, a most remarkable lady, taken too soon. Alan, Vivien Hodder and family in Weymouth, UK.
We the Hodder family here in Dorset England have warm memories of Gogi and family visiting, if we are able to achieve a fraction of Gogi's good work we would be content. Our thoughts and hearts are with you all at this sad time. Ray Linny Ben Eva and Josef.
I had the great privilege of getting to live with Gogi - we were college roommates and shared an apartment after graduation.  But, for most of our relationship, we were physically separated by more than 2000 miles.  We always made sure to connect in person when we could, but the majority of the time we spent together in recent years was by phone.  This may be why one of my most treasured memories of Gogi is my memory of her voice.  No matter the utterance, there was something about the tone and lilt of Gogi's voice that conveyed -- in a way that words cannot capture, but I will try -- the authenticity, compassion, humility, courage, curiosity and openness that she embodied. Gogi, I love you!!! Thank you so much for sharing a little bit of life on earth with me!

Tamara Haw says: I will always remember how you made time for me during coffee hour. You were busy watching two kids but wanted to stay in touch. We had a nice brief connection and I felt you cared. You loved watching how Tom Haw and your kids enjoyed each other. It was obvious that you wanted to help them stay connected. In such simple ways, you showed me how important little things are for our community happiness. We will all miss you.
Hello Gogi,
We miss you. You were such a positive spirit in our lives and those of your children. Fortunately, Noah and Nico are here to remind us that your presence has not left us. We think of you every day. I go forward with the process of living with you in my mind. I see your face. The intense gaze, usually with a bit of a twinkle or perhaps a tear, in your loving eyes.
Your zest for living made me reflect on the collective energy of our souls. It fires me up to go forward each day, even when I’m sad. We are, in large part, what we put forward in life. And you were a locomotive of love. You charted your course with the tenacity that inspired all of us. Many will accurately recount your impressive list of accomplishments.
I am particularly moved by how your spirit inspired all of us to seek what is good for our community.
It takes a special person to role model the search for collective love. You are that person.
You are a blessing for us all. And, in particular, your dear children, Noah and Nico. I will continue to love and embrace you. Here's another of those special hugs.
Your friend,
Tom Haw
During these past few months, Gogi taught me so much about how to live ......... and how to die........ I am so grateful to experience her deep strength ..... and expansive loving.........
During these months, we texted a lot. I will always remember the day she invited me to meet with her outside the front house so we could talk face to face for the last time. I treasure that memory.

This is love I gave to Gogi.

She gave me permission to text her a video of my cat, every day, and I did that for 260 days. Here's one for all of you - may it make you smile.
The Peace of Wild Things
by Wendell Berry

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.
Shared a heart Red heart
