Pepper's and Mark were my babysitters and I also took all of the neighborhood kids at the end of Waugoo at the clubhouse where they could swim. Those were the best times in my life I still live on Waugoo I do have pictures that I would mail to you but I need an address. My phone is 920-2350867

My condolences to Peepers's family. I first met Peepers at the UW.
We were roommates at the Delta Gamma house, 1st semester 1974. (I was Tennessen then) We didn't stay in touch but I would get updates from friends now and then...... she got married, developed back problems from lifting heavy patients...
I was sad to see her obituary, which was wonderfully written! It described the Peepers I knew. What a fun person! Gone from this world but living in hearts forever.

My best to both of you Joan and Greg. Oh so many memories of growing together on Waugoo St. We had a great group. Swimming, waterskiing, and whatever else a group of neighborhood friends would find to do. RIP Peepers.

My sincere condolences to Peepers family. We lived on Waugoo Ave. and Peepers babysat for my brother, sister and I when we were young. We loved her and while I’m sure we were a handful, she was always so good to us. We all grew up and lost touch but I have great memories of Peepers and the Haven family.
What a wonderful tribute to her.

Liz and I were both very sorry to hear about Margaret. We send our love and hugs to you Laura and Joan, along with the rest of her family. What we remember most about Margaret was she was always up for anything, forever spontaneous and joyful to be around. We will always remember her easy, infectious laugh and her ability to have fun in any situation. Margaret worried about others, taking the side of the person who could use a hand here or there, would benefit from some encouragement or a kind word, or maybe just needed a good friend. We loved that Margaret was the opposite of pretentious -- always comfortable being herself, making instant friends and staying true to them. Because inside that good heart was a fierce loyalty, a loyalty to family and a wide group of people she called friends. We are both grateful to have been her friend. Scott & Liz Cooper

Love and heartfelt condolences to Laura, Joan, Starus and Greg. It was a privilege to know Margaret (Peepers) through our dear friend Joan. A rare free spirit, generous in heart and deed, loving and beloved, open and tolerant, with a ready laugh, as wise as she was smart. Peepers, you'll be forever in our hearts and memories. So sorry to hear Margaret(Peepers) passed away.
I was her stylist for many years and remember how excited she and Roman were when Laura came into their lives. She loved her dearly.
We worked together when our daughters were Girl Scouts and had many fun events.
The Kentucky Derby and our jewelry making adventure stand out.
My deepest sympathies to Joan, Laura and Starus.
Rest in Peace Margaret, you were indeed a beautiful soul.

Dear Laura, Greg, Joan, and Starus,
I am so sorry to hear of Margaret’s passing. She was one of a kind and so much fun!
I have so many great memories of her from growing up as neighbors. She was in between my mom and I in age and was often roping me in on the ‘adult fun’. I loved being a part of her parties as the assistant to the host, cooking, serving, and cleaning up. She and Roman were always up for a good laugh, even if it was at herself!
I’m glad they are together now and that her suffering is over. Someone so full of life should never have to suffer long. May she rest in peace.
Much love,
Susan (and Lucy) Becker
