Marcy and I worked together in Central Unified. She was a clear thinker who put students first. I admired her grit. Unrelated -but she was also a generous hostess and I enjoyed visits in her beautiful home. My deepest condolences to all of you. May her memory be a blessing.

Dear Amy and Katy and family,

We share your loss because dear Marcy was a friend of our family for 45+ years. We were blessed to have known and loved her, and she touched our lives in many ways.

Though she and Dana were a few years younger than Sandi and me, we quickly became friends after joining  Valley Christian Center in 1976. We made lots of great memories together -- hosting parties, camping together, doing special New Year events, learning to be parents together, praying for one another, and sharing life.

Marcy was a gifted educator, a loving mom, and a long-time confidante of my dear wife. The two of them could talk for hours on the phone, and often they did. Though we moved away to Hawaii and then Texas, they always stayed in touch.  Sandi and Marcy both had health struggles in later years, and they prayed for one another during every call,

I am so thankful that I was in California and got to see Marcy just a couple of days before she passed away. Though she was frail from the cancer, she seemed to sparkle at the sight of an old friend. There in her Clovis hospital room, we shared special memories, laughed, and prayed together. What a gift to be able to help escort her towards Heaven's door!

I know you will miss her greatly, just as I have missed Sandi since her death in July of 2024. But I am so very thankful for the gift they were to me and so many others. Cherish the memories. Share often your favorite Marcy stories, and be always grateful to God for the gift you received.

Love and blessings,

Scott Tompkins

Praying you all will be covered in peace and that God will lift your spirits during this very difficult time and going forward. Your mom was so special and she raised such wonderful daughters. Sending you all so much love.

Marcy's light will be missed. ❤️

We were able to reunite a couple of years ago as close high school friends and it was if the passing years faded away. We were able to share our joys, memories and love, made more poignant now be her loss. We loved Marcy and Dane, and always will.

To the "Three Musketeers", the "ABBA Zabba Gang," and friends always.

I was lucky to work with Marcy in Central. Her spirit and dedication was inspirational and left a warm touch in my career. Best wishes to all her family and the memories that were cultivated with her love.
