So a bunch of us from the neighborhood would ride bikes on trails throughout the area. One Saturday Marc joins us for the first time. There was like 6+ of us riding on the C&O on a pretty hot day. Bout half way through the day we can tell Marc is struggling to keep up with everybody so I hang back with him for the last 10 miles or so. Marc was not one to complain but he looked wiped and was barely able to finish the ride.Â
In the parking lot after we finished we looked closer at his bike as  we put it in the jeep,  and were amazed at what we found….. His back tire had two broken spokes and a severely bent rim. 😳. Every rotation of his back tire the rim would drag against the brake!!!  He basically rode at least 15 miles on the super rough C&O canal with his brake on!!
Hahahaha. I gotta say from that day on I had a whole new level of respect for Marc, he was definitely no quitter, he was Superman!! Love you brother! Â Jeff

Marc was truly a wonderful and caring friend to our family. He always treated us like part of his ‘inner circle’ and we loved him very much. He was always up for a fun time - sharing beers out that back window, impromptu court parties, annual fireworks, and more. Our love goes out to your whole family.Â
